Do the newer motor powered diverter valves in combis (A-rated boilers) that use a flow turbine/sensor as well for the Hot water, usually rest in hot water mode, and the pin come out in heating mode?
Motor diverters are used in both condensing and non condensing boilers.
Where they rest depends on the manufacturers choice. Many may rest in the last used position but hopefully motor once a day to stop them getting stuck.
Thanks. I just wondered as am testing my Ideal logic, as is tays in the manual. But need to know if pin out is heating mode or not as it isn't clear! I think pin out must be heating mode
