We have an X-reg 2000 Freelander. Earlier this week the rear off side door stopped opening. Does anyone a) know how i can get the door open now so that i can remove the internal panel to see whats wrong and b) have any suggestions as to what may have gone wrong? Annoyingly our 3yr old son sits in this seat so the child lock is on on the door so we can't open it from inside either!!
We've had the Freelander for four years now and have learnt in that time that its pretty reliable but when something goes wrong - its usually a common fault on all Freelanders (boot compartment full of water, failure of automatic taildoor window etc...) so thought maybe someone else may have had a similar problem?
