Dormer flat roof plaster coming away

I have a dormer window in bathroom with flat roof. The ceiling of the dormer is coming away but there is no wetness and roof looks ok from outside. It looks like the plasterboard (?) is about to come away and im unsure whether to phone a roofer or builder/decorator. Any advice much appreciated. Photo attached hopefully.

Call a plasterer first, get the ceiling removed to check the timbers..good time to get insulation installed as well.

Or pull it down yourself before it falls down then post another picture.

With the that sort of damage, I think you'll find a leak somewhere, or there's been a leak,and you've now got wood rot. As Ian suggests, Take down the plaster, have a look for the problem, and then come back to us.

Hi thanks for all replies, posting this in case anyone in future has same issue. Ceiling was removed and there was a massive old wasp nest above it along with very old and warped lathe (?) which had to be removed. The guy said there might have also been a leak at one point in the past but surrounding wood was fine. I think he said the stuff under the lathe was bulging out and the strips were coming loose / about to give way (sorry ive forgotten detail).It was replaced with plasterboard and has been ok since.

What is the insulation situation regards the roof? You may have been experiencing condensation.
