My parents have a semi detatched house with a shared chimney.
The chinmey is divided up into 8.
4 for them and 4 for the neighbours.
(front room, back room, front bedroom, back bedroom).
The neighbours have had all of their fire places removed.
My parents only use one that is a real fire in the lounge.
The chimney is in very poor condition and needs either removing or removing and rebuilding as it is almost ready to fall down.
Is it possible to remove it to under the roof tiles then use a flue for the one last remaining fire.
