Electric Front Seat PUG 406 HDI

Hi there

I swapped a car recently and the front Drivers electric seat wiring loom has been messed up. Wires cut and plugs disconnected. Plus the ABS light is on.

Can I get new connectors cheap and turn the ABS light off. Anyone know how to do it id very much appreciate some help!!!

Don't see why the Antilock Braking System would be connected to the drivers seat
Do you mean the airbag warning light?

Yes sorry I mean Airbag light. The wires under the drivers eat have been cut and dissconected lol Didnt realise till i swapped it.

The wires under the seat are connected to the seat belt pre tensioners, and hence into the airbag circuit.
I imagine that either the seat isn't the original or the pre tensioners have been deployed at some time in the past.
This calls for specialist knowledge - maybe a Peugeot main dealer can advise.

what's the pre-tensioner? is that the explosive / gas charge in a tube under the seat?
goes off when the airbags do to pull the seatbelt tighter?

Yep, thats the one.
Often enough, especially with French cars, the under seat wires part due to the forward and aft adjustment of the seat...this causes the air bag light to be on.
Who knows whats happened in this case though.
