Our shower is broken so we are looking to buy a new one, but I'm not sure if our current shower is 8.5 or 9.5. Is there any way of finding out ourselves before calling in a plumber/electrician? (The shower was installed by the previous owner and I don't have the manual/receipt).

Isolate from the mains (make sure it is off at the main isolator switch), remove the cover.

There should be a data plate inside that will tell you the rating.
