Heat Store Esprit model.

The main/only dial/knob simply jams when turning off.

There is a screw in the centre of this dial and have tried tweaking with it, with little result.

Does anyone know what sort of assembly there is if I undo the screw ?

I can shut the shower with thick gardening gloves but it's clearly a problem that's not going away.

Thanks

I would take the shower cover off first personally and see if you can see anything untoward, also maybe worth checking to see if you can get spares for it, how old is it? Warranty maybe?

Almost all spares for this shower are now obsolete, time to get a new one fitted

Thanks, I was mainly curious at what lies behind the screw on the main control knob.

It must be a fairly common design element.

It just feels like it is binding (very firmly) at a particular angle.

Hope it's only a wonky washer; but didn't want some spring arrangement leaping out at me. :D
