Electric Shower or Shower via Hot Water Tank - cheaper??

Which is cheaper - running a 9.5kW electric shower for 20 mins or switching the immersion for 40mins on to fill a cylinder tank - then having a shower??? May sound like a daft question but let's have your thoughts.

Horrible things which you can normally Pi55 quicker than

Go for 1 off the tanks

I think the answer to your question is that the immersion will use two thirds the amount of the shower over that time period. So the immersion would be cheaper in this instance.

Mine a electric shower. I use it for five mins. I had a imm. heater but their fuseway on CU is being taken up by a electric shower.
