Hi

My electric shower one day stopped working. I replaced it with a spare one I had which did not work either. The spare was working fine when it was previously fitted, so I found this strange, the unit has power running to it (tested) and also has water running to it. Anyway today, I bit the bullet, and bought a new shower unit assuming, although strange, both the previous units must have been broken. The result still not working, power is getting to the unit (led coming on) and water is supplied to the unit just won't run through the unit.

Anyone got any ideas.

whats the new shower ? make/model.
how did you test for power at the shower neon screwdriver or multi meter ?

I`ll go with a faulty Neutral at the Isolation Switch or Dis Board

Bet the Feed has been checked with the good old Neon Driver

If the problem is water not running through the unit, then it sounds like a solenoid valve problem.
