Electrical wiring of an oven to a ccu

Hi

I am wiring a double oven and a hob, which will be running off separate circuits. I will be siting the control switch for the hob within 500mm to the side of the hob,
the double oven, which is to be housed in a tall cupboard, will be located on one side of the kitchen with the control switch sited on the opposite side of the kitchen (approx 4metre horizontally)

Is this a viable option as I can find no guidance, as to a maximum distance of oven to control switch. There will be a cooker connection outlet behind the oven.

Will the switch not go next to the tall unit?

thanks for the info, i thought it was 2 metres but couldnt be sure.
just one other thing it is 2 metres horizontal?

Yes, if it was 2 metres vertical, that would put it out of reach of the human being operating the equipment.
