Moved into a new house recently (late 90s Bellway 3 bed semi) and discovered that both taps in the en-suite bathroom don't work. Water everywhere else in the house is fine, it's just nothing happens with these two taps.
First thought was that it might just be an isolator but can't see one anywhere, pipes just drop straight under the floor and probably head for the airing cupboard/hw cylinder.
The previous resident was an older gentleman and judging by the state of the en-suite compared to the other bathroom, it probably hasn't been used for a while (at least a year as the house has been empty). One suggestion has been that the taps have just seized up from lack of use.
Is it likely that it could just be the taps?
If not, could it be that there is an isolator somewhere outside the room?
Any suggestions welcome, done a bit of basic plumbing like fitting a new bathroom and moving a few taps but pretty much a plumbing noob!
Thanks in advance
