I am looking to wire up the bottom part of my home with RJ45 cabling. I don't have an under stairs cupboard that I can run the cable into which is proving a small issue for me.

Currently the idea is to run the cable from each of the rooms under the floorboards and then to meet outside and run up the side of the house to the loft.

However I am not sure firstly about running under the floorboard and do I need to put anything special under the boards/

Also running it up the side of the house, is it ok just to trunk the cable?

That doesn't seem to be external grade so you will have to put in it some sort of trunking to protect it.

Anything it will fit in will do.
Perhaps some 40mm waste pipe will look like it should be there.
(unless you can get it into 20mm)

Alternatively, protect it from UV with a coat of any suitable outdoor paint.
