eurocombi ariston central heating boiler model A/23 MFFI

ive had my ch boiler 7 years from new - always had it regularly serviced - in good condition - recently, its started to override the manual off control by switching itself on and off - engineer bemused but has disconnected the timer - unfortunately, no difference
the type is C12-C32-C42-C52-B22
the category is 2H3+
the serial no is 2320010400116

can anybody help ?
