The timer knob of the half size machine stops during the wash and dry cycles (machine continues washing but timer does not move on).
Timer not faulty.
Heating element not faulty but no heating takes place.
Machine connected to cold water supply.
Can it be that the timer awaits confirmation from thermostat that water has reached temperature?
Note: If I manually advance the timer past the stuck position, the cycle continues (without heating
