hello,
can anyone help,
i have a myson fanfare 40si,when i switch it on the pilot light
comes on but the ignition keeps sparking and the main gas burner does not fire up,i had a plumber(?) in he changed the thermo coupling and the
main gasvalve relay(no the pilot light relay-the other one)
after this no change new parts fitted same old problem.
any suggestions before i throw away more money thanks bye

The fault does not present itself as a problem with either of the bits you have had replaced.

As it is contuniung to 'click' after the pilot is lit and stable, then you have a flame rectification fault.

The boiler is not recognising that the pilot is alight.

Do basic checks of the cables connecting to the spark electrode etc first.

Could even be the pilot is too small, but this will need a RGI to attend.

If you're unlucky it could even be the ignition pcb.

Make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing this time.
