Faulty Danfos HS3

Hi, have looked on previous topics but just wanted confirmation. Have Danfos HS3 3-way valve run with a Danfos Set5 programmer. When hot water is requested valve runs smoothly but when heating required the valve seems to get stuck and you have to manually push down lever to get boiler/pump to fire up. Have removed motor head and lubricated the 'D' shaped spindle coming out of the valve assembly but to no avail. Do I need a new motor or complete valve? If need a complete new valve do I just isolate either side and fit?
