What's the standard height when it comes to fence?

Normally I'd say 6ft, but you're in Australia.
Whatever your Building Regs / Planning permission people say, or whatever next door have normally works
personally i have 5 ft fence to left (between me and next door), 7ft fence to back (security against open land), and soon to have a 6ft fence to right of my back garden (onto open land)
