Ferolli Hawk 2 Combi Boiler problem

Hi, The hot water supply from the boiler now takes over 15 secs to heat, this used to be almost instant. What could be the likely problem?

Random guessing?

The water pressure needs to be at the right level before the flames are triggered. Have you had the mains water stop cock tap adjusted recently?

Not aware of any changes to the water pressure. some times it can take 15 secs other times it can be over 30secs before the flames are triggered

When last was the boiler serviced?

couple of years ago, fault has come on all of a sudden rather than gradually

Should be serviced once a year, get that done and let the Gas Safe person know the problems you are having.

Is there a general rule of thumb so to speak, about what gets checked in Boilers?
How would a customer know if everything has been inspected? Check list so to speak?
