Hi,
We are currently decorating a room in our 1930's house. We have removed an old fire from the wall and have been left with the hole in the picture below. Whats the best procedure to go about bricking it up as of course this goes into the chimney breast. We no longer require a fire in this room.
In the same room we have removed an old electric air vent unit. We have again been left with a hole, this one going all the way out through both layers of brick. Again whats the best procedure for having this bricked up.
