Hi all I have a through lounge dining area and I want to fit double doors/french doors. I already have the doors, which are quite heavy and wondered what the best way is to fill the gaps the doors don't fill.

Stud wall it? tying the door frame too it and then insulate, plaster boarding, and skim coat, or will Brick or Breeze block be a better stronger option.

Your post is quite confusing and you have not explained the job very well.

Where exactly are these doors going i.e. internal or external?

If it is an arched aperture, fit a square frame with and arch infill above.

Or, square the masonry off with a lintel.
