Is it ok to use flexi pipes on central heating systems
i've had to replace a piece of corroded pipe, but the cut off point is on a bend that's running from the next bedroom under a stud wall and is right next to the joist
or does anybody make high temp ones

In a word ...NO.

Unless you can find one that specifically says "suitable for central heating"

In a word yes you can buy stainless steel flexible's for high temperatures.

Probably have to order them in from BSS or similar

The tap flexi's are only designed to take temperature for short periods

That is NOT suitable for central heating.

You may get away with it for a while if you turn the heating temp down on the boiler.
