Having replaced the fuse in the main switch on my oil fired central system the boiler works fine so we have hot water, however the water is not being pumped around the system.

Replace pump.

Check 240volts to pump. If pump has power but is not turning replace pump.

I made the assumption it was the pump and replaced it however still no go, have today given old pump mains feed and it works fine. I have found there is no live feed to the pump ( terminal 4 on appliance terminal block )

You have a faulty 2 or 3 port valve in the system not sending live to the boiler.

Think I have sorted it , time clock fault , possibly caused by putting 13 amp fuse in before I realised it should be 3amp.
