Gainsborough Energy 2000x

If I use the 'single strand on the earth wire' test this indicates a 6mm cable. Would this be sufficient to run the 10.8kw shower or MUST it be upgraded? (i.e. i don't want to take any chances).

I'll post my fusebox wiring photo tomorrow

Thanks in anticipation.

There is a slim chance that it would be suitable, but its slim and would rely on the cable being totally in free air for all of its run, not in walls, passing through joists, bunched with others, near loft insulation, etc, and even then its going to be right spot on the upper limit.

no question about it....cable should be replaced with 10mm² for a 10.8kw shower
