Hi, I have moved to this flat which has a Galxy/ADT unit, I'm guseeing is G" serries II but to be sure this is whats printed on the panel : Galaxy 2 12 C012

so every now and then I had this intermittent beep which I use to resolve by entering the pin and clearing/viewing fault status.

This morning it has started again but I can't get it cleared. The faults are all RF battery low, which I replaced all on RFs, and RF Fail, and Telephone Fail.

I put the pin and view the faults but when press ESC I get the MASTER REST REQUIRED error.

It is a non monitored system,(out of contract), and ADT will only deal with the landlord who is living abroad!

I have a default engineer code, given to me by the landlord and the user code.

please help if you can, the beeping is driving me completely loopy!

Don't really do galaxy, but you need to clear the faults before the beeping will stop. You seem to have a wireless system, in need of some new batteries!

And by the sounds of things, you don't have the master manager code, just a user code.

Get a local company in to get it serviced and the codes changed. Check with the landlord as you shouldn't have to pay for this if it was in your contract

I think it should be check with the landlord or his agent before you mess about with his equipment.

And you will not have a engineer code.

What you need is a master code.
