garage door problem

I'm not sure if this is the right place but here goes.

my garage door side "retaining" wire has snapped i managed to find a replacement which looks like it will fit, but i can't work out how to attache the top end on.

Look at the other side if it is still attached.

For the time you'd spend messing about with it, you'd do better by phoning a local garage door company and get them to do it and service the whole shebang at the same time. £40 tops.
