hi Guys,

looking at wiring 3 seperate light bays in my garage, want to have a triple switch next to the doorway

do i feed one 1.5 cable to the switch? looking at 2 5ft twins with 2 x 58 watt lights tubes on each run

You might want to consider dividing the six lights over two circuits. Maybe keep the central bay on a different one to the outer bays ? That way you would still have some lights if a circuit failed. This depends on how big your garage is and what you intend doing in there.

That arrangement would mean running two feeds to the switch (if you decide to join neutrals in the switch) Consider using conduit or trunking for areas where damage is a possibility.

Thanks,

that seems a good idea on the seperate circuits.

running 50mm sq trunking along top edge of garage and running drops in 20mm conduit from the trunking
