Garages who cause scratches on cars

sucsess!! I met the managing director of the garage on Friday afternoon. he looked at the marks and took responsibility for them. They are going to remove them all, luckily they should all polish out!! Hurrah.

I think it was masona that said that they may come under the guarantee, scratches wouldn't unfortunately, it is only mechanical things - on and strange noises that's why it was in the garage. (they still have to fix the noises!!) Lets hope there are no more scratches.

The paintwork is covered by the warranty but only for flaking.fading etc. It wouldn't cover this problem. It was probably caused by a dirty wash rag or sponge.

After they have polished them out have a look on any edges to make sure they haven't rubbed through the surface.
