dont forget the amount of extra water to be treated running down the plug holes of house's with ridiculous super duper power showers.
With regards to the air brick and floor, there is a build system where you end up with a solid floor but it's suspended and ventilated. Foxed me when I visited a friends new house a few years back and saw the air bricks. The builder did say what they call it- but I forget.
