(Gas leak) Fitting new kitchen (1st problem...)

Actually you cannot become "CORGI registered" unless you are first Gas Safe registered.
Otherwise it would be a cheap solution to gas registration.
Yes you can Tony, there are not "corgi registered" carpenters; it doesn't mean Jack any more.

They have different classes of CORGI membership.

In the Gas class you have to be registered with Gas-Safe.

For the first year I did register and it brought in several enquiries.

It surprised me how many of the nearby gas firms were also registered.
