Gas Meter siting

Hi,

Just spotted, after I have cut my gas meter box into wall that I have mounted it approx 7M from front of property ans now noticed on National Grid form it has to be within 2M of front. How strict are they on this before I brick it back up and move it?

They may well charge you extra for supplying and laying the extra pipe. This probably will not be cheap.
