Prenticeboy there is absolutely no requirement to have any PLI .its purely down to yourself to decide if you want it and how much then depending if you work for bg , councils and the like they tell you how much req

You are on a three month probation period where all your work has to be notified to them. You are free to work so you wish from now as long as it's within your scope. Depending on your history you may or may not get an inspection. After 3 months then continue what you do well. We don't need to be told we are good at what we do just keep on doing it right.
 
Just remember its all changed now they can pick any job you have registered and inspect it without you knowing unlike years ago when the rgi picked the 3 jobs to inspection which coincidentaly were the ones they had done exactly by the book .
