Hi.

If I alter to a gas run do I need to carry out a test on the appliance .
We are fitting new kitchens so when im doing the work there is no cooker there.

The only appliance is the boiler which I check when doing my tightness test. but when it comes to writing my cp12 do I need to put all the appliances down on it or just note that iv done a alteration to the gas run and tested the work iv carryed out .

Can anyone tell me please Thanks

this is a very basic question and for you to ask i can only assume you are not gas safe registered, if you are then i think you need more training, if you are an RGI go to the combustion chamber and i will answer your question

How can you list an appliance which is not present?

In any case surely it should be a Gas safety Certificate if the landlord is to add a cooker later.

A CP 12 is OK if the tenant is to add the cooker later.

Assuming you are registered please post about this in the CC area of this site.
