I've just bought a house which has a glowworm foundryman coal effect gas heater and cant seem to get it to ignite and stay ignited.
After the ignition dial is turned, the flame lights up so there must be gas coming through at this point. After I let go of the dial (to turn it for example) the flame goes and the gas cuts out (as you can longer hear it)
Does anybody have any ideas wether this could be a problem with the heater itself or with the gas supply?
thanks
