Good old Coutts

The debate isn't whether he was wrong as the figure of 600,000 last year testifies, what has become clear Brexit has failed to get any control over our borders, so the question is why.
He used a picture out of context to make his incorrect point.
No doubt you'd claim a lady using someone else's photo on a dating site, would hold "more commitment and principles" than others.

It's not principled to misuse a photo in order to carry an argument. It's disingenuous.

Shock horror politician uses disingenuous poster, how old are you?

To put this in context:

"Nigel Farage claims that he was the victim of an assassination attempt.

But now French magazine Libération has interviewed the mechanics involved in checking Farage’s car after the accident, as well as looking at the police reports and concluded Farage could well be fabricating just about everything.

Libération says the local prosecutor and the police filed the incident as a normal road traffic accident with no mention of assassination or sabotage.

And the magazine says the mechanic who checked Farage’s car denies he ever mentioned sabotage — as claimed by Farage — and in fact could not have done so because he only communicated with Farage using hand gestures."

I think everyone is missing the point here.......Banks are in business to make money, ...and they are covered by strict money laundering laws.......and if they get caught out.....their bottom Line takes a battering....so they look for people who may be susceptible to bribery/corruption.......yes...Politically exposed persons......and who better than Farage......Brexit Party...funded by Russian money.....at the end of the day...Business is Business.......but She was wrong to discuss his affairs with the BBC
Think you might be missing the point he's unearthed that was not discussed in the public domain.
The point where you can no longer function in society if you don't hold a bank account.

Coutts is owned by Nat West. Nat West is 40% owned by the U.K. taxpayer.
Yes it's a subsiduary of NatWest, so it's not accurate to say that Coutts is 40% owned by the taxpayer.
It operates independently within that group.
Since 1968, It is and remains a private enterprise, owned by a parent company that has been bailed out by the Government's Investment arm.

"In 1968 Coutts' owner National Provincial Bank and Westminster Bank agreed to merge to form National Westminster Bank, but Coutts & Co continued to operate independently.
Coutts & Co continues to operate independently within NatWest Group."

You can look up the history if you want. But to claim that Coutts is 40% opwned by the taxpayer, is a bit like presenting a photo of Syrian refugees crossing the Croatia-Slovenia border, and claim it was migrants arriving in UK.
It's disingenuous.
