Want to put my house on the market soon, but my hallway is awful... covered with texture wallpaper (woodchip??)

I saw an advert for polycell, for the stuff that you can put on top of the wallpaper? It looked quick and easy, but I am assuming that is not the case?

Has anyone used it? What's the end results is like?

Looking for quick fix with low budget.

Thanks!

You need to strip the woodchip and then re skim the walls. The Polycell stuff is rubbish - if your a plasterer you can get a good result, though most of us prefer a bag of plaster when skimming
