All,,
Very brief query regarding heated mirror pads. We are replacing our bathroom and the plan is that we will install a mirror, c. 20cm above the edge of the bath that runs along the wall adjacent to the bathtub. To avoid it constantly misting over, we are considering installing some heated mirror pads to the back of it, these are 240V and are wired into the lighting circuit.
It's worth noting that we have a shower on the wall above the bath so the mirror and walls will be getting wet constantly.
What are the regulations regarding this sort of thing. Given the mirror will be surrounded with tiles and sealed (I believe the heat pads are a sealed unit too), are there restrictions on having this sited there? Dos anyone have any experience of this?
Any thoughts woudl be most welcome. Thanks in advance.
