right, where to start......
had a heatline c24 fitted almost 2 year back, so still got a couple of week left on warranty. Was fitted by a corgi registered plumber.
the heating SEEMS to work fine, but it could be that its not efficient as its supposed to be.
its the hot water thats also causing me a problem, some days it will take a good minute or so before the hot water kicks in, but yet if the washing machine or dishwasher is on it kicks in straight away as it should.
i cant run a bath because it doesnt stay on for long enough.
i got the plumber who installed it back and he has told me its because of the copper piping running under the floorboards upstairs, and that they need replacing because they are only 15mm. but then when i have spoke to another plumber about it, he said yes they should be 15mm BUT it still should work fine with them. the actual pipe running into the boiler though is 22mm.
when i turn the central heating on, the temperatue lights light up one by one... 40, 50, 60, 70 etc, but then when it gets to 80 it seems to knock off and go back down to 0. then kick in again.
at the moment i am in the middle of having a new bathroom fitted so i really need to get to the bottom of this problem without any hefty charges that dont solve the problem! is this something warranty may cover? again i dont want to ring up and then end up being charged for a call out because its not something thats covered.
