Hi all..new on here and new to a lot of things DIY.
I have a funky question for you;
I have a problem with my boiler.
It seems to be located in the honeywell gas valve unit.
Basically, when you hold the green square button in (to feed in gas to light the pilot) the pilot stays lit.
But it immediately shuts off soon as you take your finger off.
How dangerous would it be to wedge the square in for half hour or so just to have a bath??
Now, the earliest I can get the part (valve) is gonna' be at least monday.
I have had no water or heating for best part of two weeks.
What do you lot think?
