Help please, low water level on Vaillant VCW 242E boiler.

Hi, new here and would appreciate some help...!

I've just moved into a new house and went to turn the central heating on and have an old Vaillant VCW 242E boiler.

I think I need to top up the water as the white hand on 'Bar' dial is flat down at the bottom while the red hand is on 1, the boiler itself will fire up as I can see the flame but just not heating up the central heating, the helpful guide thingy on the boiler says top up water but doesn't say how?

Any help or assistane would be much appreciated

Hi thanks for the reply, I have seen that post however my boiler does not have that pipe, I have took a picture just struggling to work out how to upload

The fill loop may not always be under the boiler. Quite often they are fitted in cupboards or concealed behind panels etc. Time to widen your search.
