Hello all, I had a existing rad re installed today as it had been removed for decorating.
I have a combo heating system.
Toda I bled all of the rads after the old/new rad was put back on
All rads get hot apart from the last two.
When I check all rads have no. Air so maybe I have a possible air lock somewhere?
How can fix this?

Thanks

try turning off all the rads but one of the non working ones and turn the heating on

:)

Hi there good idea I just tried that and they were both roasting.
Boiler stayed at 2 bar.
I tried to bleed both and there was still no air.

Do I have an airlock or just need to balance them better?

Thanks

The system needs balancing.

The water is finding it easier to run around the radiators
closer to the boiler than the last two.

Balance the system by opening the lockshield valves a couple of turns.
Run the system and turn down the lockshields of any radiators
that are very hot by 1/4 of a turn and opening any radiators that are not
heating up by a turn. Repeat until they are all getting hot.

Hi there,
Yeah I think what I must have done when I drained the system was open the valve fully the one before the two that were not working.
Worry finished.
I will need to turn down the ones closer to the boiler.
Thanks so much for all of your help I was worried sick as my floor had just gone down today
