I'd really appreciate any pointers to fixing the following washing machine problem...
I have a Zanussi Jetsystem 1200 (FJS1225W) which is giving me a lot of E10 error stoppages which, I understand, indicate water inlet problems.
I have checked the filters on cold water inlet pipe and there is no problems there, the pressure is getting through to the inlet valve (solenoids). However, as the washer fills I can see that water is only entering the soap tray above the pre-wash compartment, nothing is coming into the main soap compartment.
Now, I'm thinking, could this be a blockage inside the water distribution head above the soap tray so that water is being restricted only to the pre-wash compartment (thereby delaying the filling cycle).
Or could this be the water inlet solenoid becoming faulty? Or maybe something else completely. The Zanussi has a twin inlet solenoid so I guess the other one (left hand pipe, top solenoid looking down the top) is for the conditioner compartment?
Thanks so much....
