thanks for that, i cant see how an engineer is expected to get the tub out , or the front plate off.
 
If it wasn't for me repairing it, got to be a write off I think.

The only way I could do it was to lay the machine on it back and move the drum up to the top about 8" then open the drum door and repair it from there. The snapped bolt was another story, no drill bit could touch it, I even got my neighbour who is a engineer mechanic using his drill bit, still fails to drill it out !!! I have no idea what the bolt is made of. I ended up using rawlbolt because i couldn't get the remaining bolt out and so far no problem :D
