Is it allowed for the hot & cold water tanks to be relocated into the bathroom. Tanks are presently located in the loft, but space needed for a loft conversion. My property is a semi Bungalow.

you can but if they are lower than present then you will reduce the 'head' and will find a reduced pressure at tap outlets and any tank fed showers may become feeble or not work at all 9if you introduce negative head - by having the shower handset higher vthan the water level off the tank.

The smaller tank that feeds your heating will, or could cause pump over-run and also suck air into your system...bad

Are you planning on any radiators and an ensuite in the loft conversion? - if so none of it will work if the tanks are lower than the rads or tap outlets!

all cold water taps & electric shower presently run of the mains.

Not expected to need water supply in the loft
House heated by storage & underfloor heating

Thanks
