Hotpoint DWF31 pcb blown question on repair

Hi all

I have the above machine now for a few years with only the dispenser door broken (just put the tablets in the basket for the last year and okay )

So tonight found no indicators on the front panel and a couple of inches of water lying in the bottom of the machine ( son can't remember if anything was on the display when he took the dishes out earlier today ), stripped it down and one half of the pcb is burned and melted next to the middle black module.

So do i try and get part myself ( and don't know what caused the fault0 or try the hotpoint fixed price repair option with a years warranty or what do you sugest?

Module is obsolete time for a new dishwasher.
