Check that the little white thermistor is attached to the rear of the dispenser. If it is then a new pcb is req.

Hi new to this but I have repaired a number of these models with the delicate light flashing. The problem is the pcb which is in the top of the door don't bother buying a new pcb if you can solder or no someone that can just buy a
OMRON ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS - G5LA-1 12DC - RELAY, PCB, SPDT, 12VDC from eBay for £2.96 and a new 12v 5w zener diode from maplin for £0.50 to identify the parts on the pcb. The relay is the smaller of the two you will know by the size of the relay that gets delivered and to identify the zener diode just grab a multi meter a cheap on will do and put the probes across all the diodes in continuity mode and which ever one beeps that's the one you need to change. To put back in follow the drawing under the diode black line matching black line. Solder it all back up and put everything back together and plug back in and your machine will once again have hot water and dry the dishes and you have just save yourself £70 minimum

thanks for the good info kyle123uk, great stuff

I have this exact problem, a burnt out little box on the edge of the pcboard...
I have used soldering irons for years on many things, but never on a pcb, so just wondering:
If I order up this little box from fleabay which you have recommended, is it relatively easy to get the original box (with a burn mark on the underside of the board) off the board - I guess by just heating each of the 4 dots?

...or can I do irreparable damage somehow, and might be safer to order a new pcb?

I have found some folks in Belfast who seem to specialise in these bits: <http://ebay.eu/1ow11eW>
they say they are used BUT TESTED, is this likely to be a better idea?
What does anyone out there think about this?

thanks for your reply
