my washing machine which is a hotpoint aquarius wf240 has gone into some sort of error mode. Initially the on/off button was flashing rapidly along with slow flashes on the top 2 option buttons-energy save and reduce creases. this seemed to correct itself, but now , 3 mins into a wash cycle it freezes and the on/off button flashes rapidly along with the time saver button flashing slowly, any clues as to what this may mean??

as you have the m/c waht does the manual say? if you have no manual get one from hp
The manual does not mention anything about the error modes, it does have a very basic troubleshooting guide ie; machine not working?- check it is plugged in! etc

sounds like the heater or motor carbons. is the motor on the top or bottom? as i dont have time to look the model up.
