Hotpoint WF440 - water not pumping out

Hi all,

i read this post:

and i have exactly the same symptoms - Power light rapid blinking, Reduce Creases and Time Saver lamps slower blinking together. Machine gets water in and spins but does not pump water out...

how do i remove the pump from the hose assembly inorder to check to see if there is anything blocking it?

any help is much appreciated!!
