Hi all,

Me and the old man have decided to take it upon ourselves to fit a new sink in the kitchen. Almost immediately however we have encountered a problem.

The cold tap has a valve that can easily be removed, however the hot tap (on the left) has one we have no idea how to get off..

I have taken a picture of it and would appreciate it if someone could explain how to do it. We are obviously not pro's, but we fancied saving a bit of cash and trying it ourselves.

Cheers guys.

Depress those 'collets' - the plastic ends of the fitting, and with care you can wriggle the coupling apart. Dont try this without pushing the collets fully in!
