The sink in my bathroom has just become loose and I was wondering how to secure it back in the unit that it sits in.

I can see any sign of any clamp(s) that may have previously held it in place so I guess it was just glued in.

Is there a special glue for holding such things in place and then I guess I put mastic around the edge to make it watertight?

Any recommendations would be gratefully received...

If it's a china one fixed to the wall, it will have been held by big screws. If you have a look from underneath you should be able to see them.

If it is in a Vanitory unit it should have had metal clamping clips. Maybe the person who fitted it didn't bother and relied on silicon sealant.
