Hi. I have a single switch in my bedroom that has 6 wires going to it in the box, it operates 2 lights in the bedroom. there is also a pull switch near bed that will also turn both lights off. how can i operate the lights on ceiling independantly - would fitting a 2 gang switch do this (replacing existing switch by door). If this can be done how do i wire up the new switch???
I want to replace the ceiling light above bed with fan light, but if i do then i have to have both lights on at present hence trying to work around using them independantly.
